I also run Japanese-language comparison sites in the same field. This one exists because the questions foreign residents ask are not the questions Japanese-language sites answer.
Where the information comes from
Prices, speeds and contract terms are taken from each provider's published information and checked before publication. Campaign conditions change often, so the provider's own site is always the authority. Where our page and their page disagree, believe theirs.
Language support is recorded as what the provider states it offers. If you find it does not match your experience, tell us and we will correct the page.
How the site makes money
Some links are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, the provider pays us a commission. You pay the same either way.
Two of the providers we recommend most often for people with no Japanese — GTN Hikari and Sakura Fiber — pay us nothing. They are listed first anyway. If commissions decided the order, this site would not be worth reading.
